Bakwas movie! Complete rubbish and unrealistic! Don't waste your time and money on this garbage. The only reason this movie was made was because the director had an incident in his own life and decided to make a movie on it.
Woman gets slapped by husband and wants divorce. Focus of the movie is on how the woman is the one who sacrificed her career and goals to maintain the relationship for the sake of her husband.
But nowhere is it mentioned how much the husband has sacrificed in his own life and how hard he is working to maintain the household and bring good income so that the family can be well off and enjoy the good life.
Nowhere is it shown how hard he tries to keep his wife happy and only wants what is best for her and the family.
He saw an opportunity shattered in his working life and he reacted angrily and unfortunately his wife happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, taking the brunt of his accidental slap.
A strong woman could slap him back or she could wait for him to cool down and then once they are alone, slap him across the face and tell him his mistake. Going for divorce was the sign of a weak woman.
The woman (Taapsee Pannu) showed to be a weak egoist with no backbone. Quickly wanting divorce and thinking that she's made a statement when all she did was ruin the life of her unborn child.
Plus Pannu's acting in this movie was completely wooden. No emotion at all in the movie. Like a cardboard. Same style of acting in every film and same type of role. Always playing victim roles.
Bakwas movie. Save your money and don't bother watching.
