This is a good show which could have been a great show....first the negatives - too long, i mean waaayyyyyy too long which was completely unnecessary, and very slow...some unnecessary moments and characters, some basic plot holes, very idiotic monster who inspite of having some supernatural abilities, ultimately unable to fight of humans in face to face encounters, also the fact that it's a supernatural encounter was easily developed at the very beginning with showing the Crooked faced man(El Cuco), whereas they could have just simply hide the face altogether to keep the suspense going. Now the positives, firstly GREAT Acting, it was extraordinary. All characters played perfectly. The story telling though at times too slow, but keeps you on the edge of the seat, you always want to see what happens next though it takes a while to get there... Some good background scores and environment creation was outstanding. Overall, definitely recommend. But i can't help but think they could have just send John Wick to kill this weak Baba Yaga😂😂

I am cutting one star because I didn't understand why all on a sudden Evelyn got the same powers as Joy...there was a sequence but it was confusing to say atleast and i couldn't follow, may be that's on me but I had to mention it here....also I found the pre-everywhere Evelyn part was much better and funny...post that this movie just revolved into mother daughter dwell and struggles in a chaotic way.. similar to Evelyn transformation from a simple woman to the everything Evelyn, the part where Evelyn comes into senses after giving in to Jobu Dupaky was rushed, what changes her motivation all on a sudden...the writing and story was there but felt a little rushed sometimes...overall the concept is fantastic, the acting is top notch and the visual effects are stunning !! A must watch for sure..!!!

Lot of potential in the story, great actors and lovely build up - but ultimately felt flat due to poor story telling. The father child relationship was never established enough to show them fall apart at the later stage. Also, the elder kid snapped out of nowhere with horrible words about her mom and uncle felt really stupid to me. Her mom should have smacked her across the face instead of comforting her. Sam's family never really tried to comfort or help him to begin with which was also not cool to watch. Also i don't know what the ending means, do they reunite, or Sam would stay in the asylum forever ! Plus is Tobey's acting - he was top notch, but the lack of narrative didn't do him any favours.

I wish I hadn't watched FG before this as I was unwillingly but continuously comparing both films while watching this masterpiece. I envy those who have watched this first instead of FG. This is as good a film you will ever get to see, the emotion, humour and story telling are top notch. Every actors have done their jobs. Overall a very typical Amir Khan feel good movie. But I felt, you can't ignore Amir's expression and body language have been very similar to that of PK's. I don't know whether that was intentional but that certainly didn't help. Also the constant 'Hmm' was not required. But again may be this is because I was comparing his performance with Tom Hanks. Overall as a film I would rate this even higher than FG, but acting wise Tom Hanks was better imo. P.S. Once the story telling in the train stops, the real Amir Khan comes up in the screen, the acting following that is unbelievable!! One of the best performances of Mr. Perfectionist.

Most boring thing I have ever seen...I had to endure 6 long episodes just because I heard (*spoiler incoming*) Kingpin would be there....but then they killed off kingpin just like that !!!! I am afraid I do not have any positive thing to say about this....acting was cringey , story was bogus, I don't know what I just saw and why I saw it !! Anyway, it actually made me not want to see Clint and any of the characters ever again!!!
