This is definitely a Wes Craven film.
There’s no mistaking the beautiful style and colour and inclusive addition of simple animation.
A very impressive cast whom I’m sure are drawn to the quirkiness of Craven films.
It’s all there, style, beauty and a great quality cast, but it’s overwhelming complexity which doesn’t draw you in makes it just a lgroup of sinarios that don’t really weave to together that well.
Very long winded way of explaining the passion of an editor for the writers of his magazine after he dies!
More of an actors indulgence than a main stream entertainment movie.
It does pay(sometimes) to be different, but not this time.
I can’t honestly say I enjoyed it.
