If I could give zero stars I would. This is one confused, confusing, convoluted hot mess. Bad guys become good guys and vice-versa with great rapidity. The conclusion was totally unsatisfying, the “disguises” laughable and it is at least three episodes too long. Dialogue was less than stunning and acting was ho hum. All I can say is thank goodness there does not appear to be another series.

This is an excellent show. It is tense, pulsating and captivating all the way through the ten episodes. The acting, especially by Eddie Redmayne as the cold and ice cool assailant is excellent, while the support actors are good as well. Even allowing for at times unrealistic situations, this is a must watch.

We did not get past the first episode. The plot is so farfetched, contrived and ludicrous as not to not make it watchable. The acting, especially by the lead, is hollow, and somewhat annoying. The fact that this kid effectively bullies everyone is not a testament to her perseverance and tenacity as the show seems to imply.

We could not get past two episodes. This is boring with a capital B. It goes nowhere, the acting is stilted, and the story line is messy. Big pass.

This is an excellent movie. It is a taut thriller/horror movie. Hugh Grant is exceptional as the creepy Mr Reed. I was wondering how effective he would be given his acting pedigree but he was superb. The plot line is well developed reaching a thrilling climax. It is quite chilling in parts.

This is a disappointing show. The plot line is wafer thin, and centres mainly around internecine intragency warfare. It is mostly shot in the dark which is not visually appealing. The acting is nothing to write home about, and there is nothing particularly humorous about middle age flatulence. We did not get past season 1 episode 3.

Disclaimer is a solid effort, although with a number of plot holes. How for example could Nancy purport to know what exactly transpired, although noting that the show does indicate that the book had taken some licence. Why were not the police involved at any point? What happened to Sasha? The sex scenes in the earlier episodes are gratuitous and unnecessary- why can’t things be implied rather than so explicitly demonstrated? The acting is uneven and the hospital scenes somewhat cliched.

This is an excellent show. It is gripping, filled with tension and is unnerving in exactly the right measure. The moral dilemmas confronting the various characters are well portrayed.

This is a gripping show, full of tension and twists and turns. Yes the plot and story line was a bit far fetched but I think that is all part of the theatre with this kind of show. While the political leanings were on show they were not overtly “ in your face”.

A weak and somewhat implausible ending mars what is otherwise a very good series. The acting is excellent by a host of well known actors, the courtroom scenes are compelling and character development is solid. The series is slightly too long and could have been compressed into six episodes. I would have given it a 4 or 5 but for the ending which also gave the impression of being rushed. Having not read the novel I don’t know to what extent the series stays true to the novel.
