I don’t know what did they gain by giving this movie a Hindu-Muslim angle. Hindu priests and rituals are demeaned. Hindu people are shown as backward minded and superstitious people. Bhajans and Jagaraatas are demeanded. Asif (Akshay Kumar) shown as praising the whole practice of sajda, which is bad considering what they showed was total opposite for Hindus. Itne pe kyu ruk gaye, or beizzati kar dete Hindu dharm or Hinduon ki. Being a proud Hindu, I feel sad and pity for this movie, cast and crew. The original Kanchana was way better.
