As soon as they stereotyped, I disliked the movie. To emphasize a father that is "Indian" "Arab" "Pakistani" are the only race who would beat their kids and lose their temper is unacceptable. From 52:45 - 53:42 = disappointment.
From 53:02 killed the entire movie. Any race and ethnicity could lose their temper. Stop with the stereotyping.
