I stuck with it - the bad translation, a culture a struggled to understand. I think it is a terrific series beautifully acted, marvellously filmed, and agree that it is the best series I have watched for many years. The costume department deserve medals for the heroine Lady Ae-sin’s clothing. The non verbal acting and silences are wondrous and something other film makers could learn hugely from. There are no duff actors in this series - and the scenery! And the women are terrific - not just the beauties but Ae sin’s servant is terrific. We have reached 21 out of 24 episodes and while we want to know what happened to our Joseon heroes we don’t want it to end. Fabulous and a credit to Korea. Looking out for other good works from Korea now. Bravo.
