Incredible. I never cry during movies, but this had me crying within the first 6 minutes. There are so many levels to her story: she started an international movement while dealing with depression and other issues in her personal life. Even as she gained massive fame, she still had so many experiences common to many teenagers (arguing with her parents, feeling excluded at school, missing her pets, etc.). And despite all the passion, efforts, and outrage of Greta and the thousands of people she mobilized, politicians still haven't taken proper actions on the climate crisis. Sad, moving, complex, and powerful. Would highly recommend this documentary.
And to those saying she is being "used": you clearly didn't even watch the first five minutes. Her parents did not support her initial actions. Passerby told her she was wasting her time. I don't understand why some people find it so hard to believe that a young person would care about the future of this planet on her own accord.
