I remember playing this game in like 2010 and got back into it in 2014 and played until 2018. I was absolutely addicted to this game and was always excited to play it. I stopped playing the game when almost every player I saw were obviously buyers and always had an advantage on me. The developers constantly keep making the game more and more of a pay-to-win. They seperated skins and weapon resistances to two different components that are all availble to buy (of course :() and the prices of skins are ridiculously expensive. But the main problem that this game has ALWAYS had is the premium pass. When you play the game, you get a beginners pass that gives you more experience and double the crystals during battles. When you had this, you could play the game completely fine and afford new upgrades whenever. But after the month ran out, making enough in-game currency to buy items became an impossible feat. The only way to "regain" your beginners pass was to buy a premium pass to gain back your exp and crystals advantage. Because of this, I always had to make a new account once the beginners pass ended on my previous account. Over my 5+ years of playing and being loyal to the game, I made at least 50 accounts (I've never spent a penny on a videogame and never plan on it). I was probably one of their most loyal and best players (with magnum), yet I'm sadly done with it. Tanki was such a huge part of my childhood but it turned into a game that can't fairly be played without spending money.
