Nice casual fun but wait for a sale. The 5 star reviews love dragon ball, but not video games...
Definitely not balanced or designed for competitive play. Most characters share the same skills between each other. Some characters have the same dragon rush combos with different inputs by themselves and that is PATHETIC. It kinda seems like the skills and dragon rushes were handed out randomly by an AI to save time.
There are 2 types of supers. Rushes and blasts, but they all mostly technically do the same thing and all require the same counters. They look amazing, but there isn't any variety besides visual! The ultimates add variety, but some ults are just bad. There is a clear meta
Beautiful graphics, the nostalgia hits hard, but mainly a let down. This isn't a "get good" issue because there isn't anything interesting to practice.
The story mode is very disappointing. Everything is disappointing for $70. 3 stars kinda seems generous, but this game has it's highs for dragon ball fans and casual gamers
