Love this show! NBC better renew it for a second, third and Nth season. It's a brilliant concept and like all shows, it needs time to fall in place. So far it's perfect, with the exception of the Asian girl intern who's an obnoxious character.

Beautifully made. Captures the time and essence of Elizabethan England perfectly and offers a darn good argument!

A beautiful film...deep but so light and subtle.

Beautifully acted and directed. This is an excellent cast, and frankly, this, in my opinion, is one of the best iterations of any of Jane Austen novel, on film.

Though it was trying to compete with Bonanza, Lancer ended up having its own "standing" with tv fans. It was an incredible show and I wish one of the streaming platforms would pick it up and show it.

A very enigmatic film. Every aspect, from the form of acting, to the choice of film stock and lighting, has a kind of mystical aura. It's an original for its time and unfortunate that it isn't as popular as so many old Hollywood classics.

I saw season one and two and loved it and then I started reading the books...including the 4th one, Time's Convert, and realized that the show producers had really hacked into huge chunks of story; info that really clarified different parts of the characters or stories were just written out for the series and that was only clear to me after reading the books! Why they short-shifted so much info is bizarre. They could have kept much of it in and made it close to the books, extended the seasons and really done Harkness's books justice. As is, it's no wonder that so many people give up on it...what was scripted was cursory.

Absolutely LOVE this frolic of a movie. The only people who'd get it though are real Python heads!

This show was ahead of its time in so many ways. Benben is BRILLIANT in it. I don't understand why this isn't streaming somewhere!!

Gorgeous script, great...no LEGENDARY actors, playing legendary characters, SO well. This film is a must-see for so many reasons...
