While I didn't get the original on the 3DS (I wasn't super into Mii things at the time), I've been loving the Switch port! The story is easy to get into and simple enough to follow, and the gameplay is simple but engaging! It's a lot of fun to put ridiculous or purposefully awful Miis into mundane roles. There's a lot of customization on offer as well, which is great for replays. I'm nowhere near completing the game, but I thoroughly enjoy my time with it, and would recommend it as a gateway RPG or a fun game to not have to think about too much for anyone too busy to play more in-depth RPGs.
