MORTAL KOMBAT 2021 Special Effects: 4 ⭐️ Story: 4 ⭐️ Cinematography: 3 ⭐️ Fight sequence: 3 ⭐️ Acting: 2 ⭐️ Direction: 2 ⭐️ Spoiler Alert: Love Sub Zero’s depiction and his abilities in this film. The scene between Kano and Sonya was too long. And why did they pick an Aussie who looked like the late Robin Williams? Liu Kang looked like he barely reached puberty. Scene transitions didn’t make much sense and felt awkward. This MK had so much potential, but for some reason, the whole movie felt like the director wasn’t sure what and how the actors needed to act for each scene. Overall, I wanted to love this film and was excited to watch this on its first day of release, but felt I’m like watching a TV series rather than an epic action packed film.
