I don't know why this film scored well on IMDB, it starts off appearing to be setting up for excitement, then continues on and on and never actually gets there, some very average story telling by way of an interview that just drags out for two hours. If it hadn't been for the fact we bought tickets at the cinema we would have just turned it off. Such a shame, it sounded promising.

I don't often give 5 stars but I really enjoyed this, it's clever, calculated and a great performance by Helen Mirren, as you'd expect. The acting is pretty good, Roy is sometimes frustratingly weak but he's old and playing the victim and it works in this movie, I enjoyed it, perhaps not going to appear to a younger audience.

I found it hard to believe it had good actors in it, what the hell happened for them to create such a bad movie with such big names, absolutely a waste of time watching this one, not even b grade.

Oh dear, a terrible revenge story where you wait for it to build into something good, but it just doesn't. All his foes bar one are weirdly submissive to a clearly burnt out Cage that presents very little threat in his typically half asleep state, half the time dazed and confused and gasping for breath. Not much in this film makes a lot of sense, it just ambles along to a predictable ending and you're left wondering until the credits roll if all the bad reviews could really be that true, unfortunately they are! I'd say this is likely his last movie.

Not sure how this managed to get over 5 stars, really boring, constantly waiting for it to improve and break into something worth watching, but it never does.

I have always enjoyed Bruce Willis in movie, serious or not, which is why I expected this to be good. It wasn't. Poor meaningless acting, badly dubbed voice overs, clearly low budget animations for the entire air scenes with no realism, even Bruce forgets to be real and at times it seems he's reading his lives for the first time. It vaguely reminded me of the old Monkey Magic series, unfortunately. I turned it off before it ended, was getting sleepy.

I couldn't possibly stay awake long enough to see the whole thing, it's a good cure for insomnia. Starts with a bang and that's all she wrote.
