I was a devoted fan of the original series with Edward Woodward as The Equalizer, and thought Queen Latifah could possibly bring an updated version of the show back to the tv screen. Unfortunately, I was disappointed on all fronts. The plot and the acting, including the unrealistic action scenes, had me yearning for the debonair Robert McCall and his Jaguar.
