Fringe is out of this world. It screams Sliders at times, but this time it was done right.
To keep me from spoiling it for readers I won't be able to detail why this show is amongst the best of sci-fi/action/comedy/drama. Yes, comedy! Just enough comic relief to having you laughing once or twice an episode.
The character development and storylines that evolve between seasons unfolds unpredictably for the most part, never contrived, and leaves you with a sense of satisfaction after each episode while somehow compelling you to watch 'just one more episode'. The writing is outstanding.
At times I have been left cheering, laughing, crying, and sleepless after watching as many episodes I can fit into a day. If you like this style of show, you will find it hard not to be emotionally invested.
The performance and chemistry of the cast is unmatched, if I could collectively marry them, I would. Who would have thought I could ever watch Josh Jackson after cringing at the though of Dawson's Creek? Good actors can avoid being typecasted, even after being involved in 6 seasons of garbage.
Do yourself a favour and watch this show.
If anyone I know reads this review, shutup and buy me the bly rays already.
