Definitely better than what I was lead to believe by watching trailers and YouTube reviewers. Really excited to be immersed into the huge universe of LOTR, but still waiting for the immersion part.
Is it as good as LOTR movies? NO.
Galadriel is poorly written, lacking substance.
Out of the 5 story lines I'm only interested in one so far. Some characters are so poorly introduced that I remember them as 'son of a guy with a beard' and girl that had to mop the floors and her simp boyfriend'
What makes Galadriel such a heroic commander and warrior, how has she become who she is? What makes her so much better of a fighter than any other elf? (First episode ice troll). She gives off energy of ' I'm badass because I said so'.
Hope they fix it in second season
