It is in all likelihood real, at least most of them. With the ones you may not understand over other episodes , due to not always can the uniqueness of these situations able to be told or explained in a TV screen written way as other of the series can. Some situations are literally just "too wild" or "out there" for anyone rational to wrap their brain around. So in the trying attempt some things may come off as fake to some, elaborated to others, or misunderstood to someone. But, know that it is an actual thing, a phenomenon that they have real people in religion or otherwise that help people with these things for. I'm in my mid 50s, and have been privately studying and investigating paranormal occuranses of the demonic nature only, for 30+ years. For anyone but the "Luckiest, Bravest, most Holy, and highest of confidence in Faith Oriented persons" can be involved with, and actually be an expert in. If those that are not, get involved, they may have experience, but are still just a case away from a very real and specific doom. Many, too many, are purely "lucky" they just haven't seen the worst cases yet. Claim to, but in reality haven't. But to some, it may seem like they " seen it all", till you've actually "SEEN A LIVE LEVITATING Latin speaking, Demon that knows what you've done wrong and tells you" Then "Crawls up to the ceiling in center of room , only not using a ladder, rope, anything physical, while staring at you , not using hands, . . Or feet!. . . And sounds like 2 or 4 peoples voices are coming out of the mouth hole, not a sound effect, not a trick, because how do I know? The poor soul undressed mostly prior to the act. Naturally this person deserves their privacy, but wow could the act be done without possession, no seat in any arena would be vacant to see that. , It's hard not to talk about, if nothing else but to make others confirm your nuts, or confirm your luckily unlucky.

Closest interpretation to what REAL possession and conjuring of unholy entities in any movie ever. The disturbing visuals are much more realistic and valuable to the film than any cheap movie jump scare in B movies. The only disappointment is that we will not see more like this for some time. It's too far and in-between that real horror shows up in a movie.

Loved it. Mostly, however, ... Paul Rudd should definitely get a separate special award for being the one key element that gained the possibility of restoring the futures past making this last instalment possible. Instead, he received "the village idiot of the avengers" roll with potentially the least respect of the bunch. At least, had some better recognition in the film for his contribution. After his key roll , he's less than a sidekick to the story. Just a thought. 1 opinion. But isn't that the cliche of mainstream Hollywood? Make the star a star off the backs of the real heros who contribute more than they're awarded for?

Very good. Slow, but needed start. Well acted, written and directed. Don't stop watching, ending makes it worth the watch.

Don't rely on the comic nerds with full frontal wedgies and a copie of Archie in back pocket. The movie was good if not great, impressive if not impressing. No 1st time movie of this type can hit the mark with every "comic critic". As if. It's a good show, watch it. The next instalment will be even better.

Good, however... You have the 1st one, extra creepy Salem-like witch / demon case, then part 2 , a super creepy nun demon. Awesome. But here's 3... A former priests daughter that has a spell book and crafts sticks and feathered strings and this is supposed to top 1 & 2 movies? Subject of evil did take a reduction in "shock and aww effect". Not exactly like you'd have expected if it progresses from "east coast possessing demon" to actual "nun demon" in Europe. You'd think the next step into effective anarchy would be the devil himself, not, "the devil made the priests daughter do "it"." But overall well made. But , let's face it. If it fell into the correct escalation of events based on scare value, it should have been about : "The Warrens Vs. SATAN the DEVIL! "Cage Match : Ed vs Lucifer and Lorraine The "ring girl" carrying the around numbered card's in a bathing suit. Or they both wait in hell to take on Trump &Biden both upon their deaths knowing that's their destination in the afterlife anyways, a real fight against evil. Jk, but I digress... Yea, former preachers daughter was real "bone chilling"...
