The plot wasn't thought out very well nor was the characters. This isn't a good reboot at all. On fact it's probably the worst I have seen. Yes there are current cultural references which would b great but they made the iconic characters out of their norms and gave them horrid personalities. If you haven't seen the classics then it would be fine. But if you have an expectation that the characters have a resemblance of the original, do not watch the movie.
