I mostly loved Fuller House. The girls were a pleasure to watch grown up with their own stories and adult lives. The writing remained funny, although more adult than the original series. The new children were a delight - with very defined characteristics and personalities. Andrea Barber as Kimmy was the real star of the series; she has impeccable comedic timing and she stole every scene she was in. Jodie Sweetin as a grown up Stephanie was enchanting; not perfect, partier, funny, irreverent. The only drawback was the constant cameos from Danny, Jesse, Joey and Becky. They kept clinging on and did not allow the girls and the new cast the freedom to shine. I fastforwarded all of their never ending appearances. If they’d come on maybe once a season, I think it would’ve been more bearable; but they were having cameos every two episodes, it was like they were almost cast regulars. While the girls grew, the older cast remained caricatures of themselves and it (like them) got old quick. Had they been omitted, I would’ve given the series five stars.
