Our elementary school was just outside the gate to a Naval propellent plant, and or community was only 25 miles from Washington, D.C. We practiced air raid drills in the hallways. I was too young to understand what was happening in the world. But, now, as I watch this movie, and reading about the events, I'm so thankful that I'm even here to write this. This movie is so realistic, and really brings home how close to nuclear annihilation we were. Scary stuff, especially with our world in the state it's in today.
