My mind is blown away. THIS is what a musical should be! Huge, unapologetically grand and deliciously decadent. This is the movie of the year for me, and I predict it will sweep most of the awards this season. The world, the songs, the choreography, the makeup, the costumes, the actors, everything was simply SPECTACULAR. I was there, living every moment, as if it was real. Elphaba has pierced my soul in a way that has forever changed me. Cynthia will win an Oscar for her role. Even without saying a word, the power and magic of Elphaba's presence are enough to cast a spell on us. And her voice... just WOW. The same goes for Ariana. Her wit, her humor, her voice, her sugary pink persona are just intoxicating. Their chemistry is unparalleled. The story telling is superb. What a wonderful musical, and what a message of hope in these trying times! Is it ok to say I want to watch it again? But next time, I will dress in green and pink, and I will take my wand, and my tears, and all my joy, and I will allow myself to be a little girl again.

Blown away by the effect this movie has had on me. Adam Sandler delivers an Oscar worthy performance, along with the incredible cast. Suddenly, my whole world has shifted, thanks to a giant spider who seems to be more human than myself. So beautiful, heartbreaking and enlightening... Pierces through the heart, but like a good ray of hope, leaving behind the sweet taste of profound, unconditional love. My eyes are open. Silence is home.
