A heartwarming story of an abused woman and a loveable three-year old baby girl that shouts out for compassion and kindness with every unfolding episode. One wonders how life can be so unfair and cruel to a person who is sober, patient, kind, and selfless. To see someone care for a nutty mother despite her own misery is so touching. Equally, it is touching to see little acts of kindness of those who selflessly provide care and comfort for such victims made me wanting to be more generous towards assisting such people. I feel some of us have lived sheltered lives and this is a reminder the world outside is not that rosy. Fortunately, there is hope, thankfully. I felt all actors did a great job performing their roles particularly Magret and Andie, and of course, very well directed.
