It had the potential to be a good film. A close brotherhood of Vietnam veterans returning to Vietnam to locate a fallen comrade. The story turned into a shambles, bad acting and scripting. The movie pushed a politically driven racist aspect that was disproportionate to reality. The final insult to the film was a clip of the late Dr Luther King, a strong opponent to to the Vietnam war and an advocate for the black American struggle at that time. However, he was assassinated by a black man, and the reference to Dr King did not credit or reinforce the story line of the movie.
