Ima be honest this was a solid 7/10 the characters really had no development, it seemed like they focused more on the fighting then the story, and it felt a bit rushed. I’m pretty sure they thought that most of the viewers understood the story already so they just went for it with little background. I feel like they should’ve taken this as a fresh start and focused both on the characters and the fighting but also trying to open the eyes of new viewers. They could’ve easily made this a 2-3 hrs film but im pretty sure they were planning on making a sequel and this was sort of a teaser of what is to come. I understand that because of covid that some parts felt a bit off and hopefully in sequel (if there is one) they would expand the characters arc rather then just putting them out. I feel like this would’ve been a great Tv show, fans would’ve loved it. Overall great cgi, the gore was badass, the fighting sequences were awesome, and amazing casting (except for Raiden, could’ve just the went with the games casting) P.S if your planning on watching this as a new viewer to MK I recommend going in with some background of the characters and storyline or else you’ll be just a bit lost on some stuff.
