Alot of people especially the fans of this show think Sam Heughan is Golden Globe worthy. I on the other hand do not think he is. I am sure Sam Heughan is a nice guy but he is too pretty for this role. He has a long way to go before I see him getting any type of accolades for any role that he plays. The show on the other hand has it's hills and valleys. It must be hard to put a 900 page book into these episodes . You be the judge, but I have been reading these books from the get go and am disappointed they don't keep closer to the story line and the constant back flashes take away from the actual story line. It's sad, as I really liked the show, now I am constantly disappointed with these new episodes. Who does the ratings, and the producers say they are writing the episodes by fan demands of past actors and bringing them back. STOP! Stick to the books as it's getting boring and the episodes don't flow anymore. I used to look forward to this show, now I'm bored.
