Yikes. Nothing new the same old tropes with excessive swearing, bonking and angst to seem mature. Poor plot and world building and predictable action with no theme or message to tie the many suspended ideas together.

Excellent adaptation of the book. The film does cover all the important plot points with great acting, visuals and music. My only issue is that it may have been better off as a tv-show rather than a 2 part movie due to the sheer amount of source material. Either way, no complaints here.
