I was worried about how a show adaptation would work for the series of books and games I have loved for years but it is spot on, absolutely spot on. The casting for this series was the thing I was most worried about but it was done masterfully and Henry Cavill was born to be Geralt of Rivia. As for the people comparing GoT to The Witcher. The Witcher is to GoT what GoT is to The Chronicles of Narnia. Even though they are in the same medevil fantasy type genre they are nothing alike. People are entitled to their opinions but I'm telling you now. If you go into this series expecting to fill the void season 8 of GoT left in your soul, your going to be disappointed. But if you go into it looking for a fresh new adventure with all new characters, personalities, countries, politics, protagonists, antagonists, and literally everything that makes a good series good; you will be happy with The Witcher.
