Ram Sethu could have been much better, had it been properly executed.
A superb story line, but very weak script... And extremely poor direction.. from the opening scenes in Afghanistan, where they find the treasure box, to the under water sequence, all were below par CGI and above all make no sense. Akshay Kumar is in his suit to explore the sea levels, but together with him are 4 divers who freely can dive , for them no water pressure will act.
The cave or tunnel Akshay explored is seen fresh and swept and clean... In The scenes where Ram Sethu was explored under water, they were showing lightening... Even there is a Storm coming, after 15 feet inside water, no light will pass .. the under water scenes were shown as Aquariums.. and to see lightening inside the sea???!!! Where are the brains...??
Many such things were just senseless.. what is disappointing is it was a very good story, could have made much better and really dwelled into the Indian culture and shown to younger generation it's importance, rather on other hand, the film was ruined with the primitive CGI, even shaktiman CGI were even better.
Had a little research been given into it, this movie would have done wonders.. instead of paying astronautical fees to Akshay, if they had spent on CGI, it would be more desirable
A misfired attempt....
