Great film! Certainly not an Oscar worthy movie but not sure what the Critics are expecting. It is at its heart a joyous, cheesy, romantic comedy with 2 strong leads and a stand out supporting performance from Dan Stevens. Full of sincerity, emotion and genuine pathos. It is a really great story. Also has the added bonus of some really catchy, original songs and a show-stopping ballad that deserves to be a huge international breakout hit for its artist Molly Sanden. Far from a bad movie & actually one of the best Netflix original movies. The critics obviously need to get into a theatre soon, as lockdown has obviously taken its toll on their sense of humour and fun. This is the quintessential “feel good movie”. Which, is what the world needs right now. Don’t upset the elves!!
