I loved the play and loved this movie. The acting, singing and dancing was top-notch. Jennifer Hudson's story line alone was worth the money. That said, the movie doesn't get off the ground until Hudson's storyline takes off. Until then, the introduction of the cats are fun, experiential scenes waiting for the story to happen. All in all, go see it.
