Last weekend, I decided to give Netflix another chance mainly because of Rosamund Pike. The way she’d performed in Fincher’s Gone Girl had impressed me quite a lot, so I thought I would ‘do’ her again. Watching ‘I Care a Lot’ is like watching social networks’ profiles. At first sight they look pretty fancy (= trailer), so you pop it up thinking it will show off (= movie). But it simply doesn’t happen. And yet again, it doesn’t happen. It never happens. It’s simply not there. The only thing I saw was an incredibly non-authentic lesbian relationship connected with women-versus-men never ending quarrels, Brit/Ukrainian/Russian Lilliputian not only from The Game of Thrones, racial diversity, and bla bla bla. When you finally get to know that Pike earned Golden Globe for this, you can’t help yourself but feel sorry for the entire poor thing..😄 So, yes, it has everything except for the plot and logic. #icarealot
