It’s like a family friendly slasher with a lot of touchy feely moments. The killings are awesome and there’s suspense for sure, but after it brings you up, it brings you right back down to the feels. The brutality of the slashers from the 70’s and 80’s is lost. And I had such high hopes because the first scene and the title introduction were so fun and awesome. Sad face.

I don't know what that was but it wasn't what I was expecting based on the original. That said, Art the Clown was great of course, but the whole fantasy schtick with the brother and sister have got to go. It did not deliver like its predecessor. Boring, less action, too much dialog, and too many family scenes. That said I can see Twilight fans or teeny boppers being into this. As a horror fan, though, I cannot.

Stylistically gorgeous, terrific soundtrack, and an interesting story line. This was my favorite movie of the year for sure.

Unique concept with a lot of potential to be a really fun and entertaining horror movie. It could have been a lot shorter, I feel that it didn’t have enough substance and complexity to be the slow burner that it was.
