Absolutely piece of s*** story. The entirety of the game dabbles with forgiveness just to throw the it right to garbage by the end of the game. 0 character development for Ellie whatsoever. We just learn she’s unable to get over the fact that everyone loses when you kill someone people care about. And that last scene of her and Joel talking about forgiveness is just as slap in the face having in mind she could’ve just helped Abby and forgiven her in the first place. Made no sense to get us through a terrible story line about hatred, trying to kill people you hate, just to do it all over again and end up in nothing. Even though the mechanics, gameplay and graphics are masterful, the story line just ruins everything.
