As a book reader I’m very unhappy with how the show is drastically different from the source material. People who haven’t read the books will think it’s great. I was hoping to see what I read acted out and to say that hasn’t happened is an understatement. It’s horrible. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This is after watching episode 8 of season 1. I hope they follow more closely to the books in the following season. This is just bad in comparison.
