As an avid Sci fi genre subject follower this movie seemed to lack investment in surroundings and feel, to me it appears the film makers had banked on a few well known actors to draw viewers in, so as to show potential investors in the next project hopefully will stump up more cash, it doesn't come across as technical minded and emersive, generating character arcs you can follow, invest time in and be satisfied with their eventual conclusion. It's dark (lighting wise) confusing and trying it's best to make you think what would I do in an almost impossible scenario (no spoilers) I just wished they had taken the time and really researched for this film the likelyhood of people smoking in 100 years time is doubtful and in a space ship/station environment unrealistic, which leads me to think, if they allow this scenario to exist in thier writing then the rest of the film probably lacks thought and imagination. Overall this is a time filler film at best and attention to detail as its worst feature. The only glimmer of good is the acting. The actors did their level best to give a good performance with a cheap set and timid production costs. If your planning on writing a Sci fi novel this film does however give you an example on how to write without using your imagination and research, just written for the sake of writing something I guess, then offered up to netfilx, steaming services are desperate to generate new business and customers and for every mundane film like this one that comes along, one or two gems might appear. This sadly wasn't one of those gems. Watch it if your bored and need something to fill your time or if you're an insomniac and need some sleep, cause it will definitely do that. 2/10 and that's for the acting not for the set or realism.
