As a true matrix fan, it came out when i was 11 ish I watched the first part 11 times the first time I got it on dvd. I think i watched all of the movies 20+ each if not more. it is and will always be in my top 3 movies. Is this as good as the original? no. Am i sad that not all original characters could play their parts? like morpheus and agent smith? yes, I think it would have made the movie better. But since Neo and Trinity died. This is a great way to ressurect them. there are easter eggs in the movie. The sweet love between Neo and Trinity is nostalgic. People can say what they want but the movie is good.
