Not a fan of Pedophile-Sesshomaru. This show very CLEARLY promotes Pedophilia/Ephebophilia and child grooming. Is this really the message we want to send our children? Is it? Think about it--we all grew up with the series. If you had a child now, who is also into anime, would you be comfortable with them watching a child their age, get into an explicit relationship with a man that's your age, or arguably, older that you? I really loved the original series, I used to sneak to stay up and watch it. I really looked up to rumiko takahashi and sunrise. I was so excited for this sequel, I watched for every new bit on information on Twitter, in the beginning. But this is ridiculous. It's incredibly uncomfortable and unfair that this was 'confirmed'. YES I'm aware that it's 'just fiction's and YES I'm aware of the time period but that is a very REAL problem in this day and age. It's disgusting and sunrise should really be ashamed. I get it, we all need money but Jesus Christ. Go.a different route! Literally any other route! This isn't about 'ships'. It's just wrong. You should not write this, especially Knowing younger viewers are consuming it! Shame on you, Sunrise. And shame on you, Rumiko Takahashi for letting this happen. I am glad to see other journalist sites agree on how horrible this truly is. I sincerely hope this does not get a second season. Terrible.
