I loved this animated film when I first saw it many years ago, but to relive it with my son adds a whole new level. My son is now 2 years old and is obsessed with Spirit. His love for horses reached a level of ecstasy with this movie. I am just disappointed that when they started Spirit riding free it was a journey of a young girl and Spirit and not continue the story line of Spirit and his mom. It’s been difficult finding birthday decorations because they are all geared towards Spirit and Lucky, but Lucky overshadows Spirit and in turn finding the original Spirit is difficult.
