pretty good game to play. silent hill + resident evil + butterfly effect -esque story.
at first i was skeptical when my friend introduced me to this game. took me a while to actually start and play it. i eventually came around and started. at first it just seemed kinda bland and boring. but as i played it got more interesting. the layout feels dated but is actually pretty solid. one thing that got me was how you can mix and match classes to suit your own play style which is always a plus for me. character creation is a bit lacking, but the in game costumes make it some what forgiving. speaking of costumes, it is nice that its not completely cash shop and that pieces can be bought via in game currency which is a nice add. and also the ability to buy them straight from your dressing room makes it nice and less of a hassle to dig for the actual piece you want. and the fact all pieces are view able and can be tried on is magnificent. game play over all is really good, and it doesn't feel grind heavy. very nice balance of story and side quests that give you a good amount of exp to level. so far the cap ive seen is 50, hopefully this will change down the line. seeing as im 30 right now i wouldn't want to be stuck in cap limbo. as far as the story is, im still hooked. i just got done with the "tyler freeborn" missions and i have to say it is the best mission ive done by far. and to be honest, when you go to the depths or whatever it is. it keeps you on the edge of your seat. and im not knocking the current story but i do wish it was as immersive as that quest. because the whole feeling was just indescribable. i got the same feeling from doing that quest as i did playing silent hill/butterfly effect for the first time. it was chilling and interesting and made you want to dig further and stay longer.
overall its well balanced and good. ive just got done researching that some items aren't available at the moment especially a specific one im trying to get. but maybe that will change.
