Exactly what adults need from the Potterverse. Gone are the childish problems and wayward antics that we, as adults, should view with a constant pang of hard earned experience. In its place is a narrative more nuanced, and mature; travails that we recognize as tantamount to our own. The narrative is one which we stumble through, along with the characters, because we haven't yet mastered the mundane versions of their magical woes, and with each small victory, we celebrate as if we'd won along side them. It's magic for grown-ups, and I am pleased.
