Slight spoilers ahead, this movie, Barbarian, is an exceptional idea but (IMO) had a horrible execution. The jumpscares in this movie are thrilling and keep you scared waiting for the next one but it only had few of them and the ending of this movie was quite a**. This movie felt like when you start writing a sign but the words are too big at the beginning so near the end it starts getting really skinny and you end up losing half a letter. I give this two stars because I do believe it has potential but like why are you renting in bumf*ck Detroit in the A.M. hours? It does not make sense and there are other ways this movie could've ended at the same 1 hour 43 minute mark that would've created a more satisfying conclusion.
