At my basic school it was a obligatory reading lecture, then I've read it again as a pleasure. Also movie adapation of this poem, made by one of the biggest polish movie directors Andrzej Wajda, was a masterpiece, faithfully transfered poem to big screen. Every Poles know this poem and the beginning, known as "Invocation", I remember to this day. Wish to everyone to read "Pan Tadeusz" .
