I went to Butterfield (now Tom Butterfield Campus) from 11-18-11 to 11-18-16, and it was the best hands-on private education you can get. Each student has an IEP to tailor their educational needs. The environment is one that you would get in a Co-Op styled setting. We had a garden that we would take care of along with other things. I went to school there from 11-18-11 to 12-18-15, and eventually lived there from 12-18-15 to 11-18-16... We got sponsored to go on trips (Individually), we had allowances, the whole mile. It was hands down the best experience of my current life.
