This movie is just terrible, and it has no redeeming qualities, it's characters are sexist, and it sends the wrong messages to children, the references are unfunny, and moronic, the cynicism is a poor imitation of Shrek's and the treatment of Foxy Loxy is just plain disgusting, in what way is calling a young woman who is typically masculine presenting who has had her original personality temporarily deleted, turning her into a traditionally feminine character, having this transformation referred to as making her somehow 'perfect' is just disgusting, because apparently being a fairly mild mean-spirited female bully who happens to be the star of the baseball team, is reason enough for her to have been albeit accidently mind r**ed, and then being told that that this mind r**e, can be easily fixed but a fat oaf gets to say no, because that way he won't die alone, giving him an undeserved chance at happiness with someone who if they were in possession of their original perfectly normal mental faculties would have refused, so essentially it's advocating actual r**pe in a children's movie, because as she was Foxy Loxy would never have consented to being that fat pig who is named Runt being her boyfriend, she deserved better, better still why aren't her own friends consulted about fixing what was done to her, not even her family is consulted, but the fat oaf who goes to the same school as her and is relatively unpopular gets to decide on the restoration of her normal personality, and says no, even though the previously mentioned unnamed family members and friends, probably preferred her the way she was...the fact that this didn't make the news back in the day, or if it did I can't find any examples of reactions from the time, the only people who have ever seemed to care is those on the internet with a key eye for analysis, and with a keen sense of what should never have been.
