My new favorite of all time, so of course my favorite of the year. When I picked up this book I had no idea the astonishing amount of joy it was going to bring me. My heart flutters with all of the hilarious jokes, sweet kids, and messages of anti-prejudice in this book. It is like sunshine right into your soul. I’ve read 130 books so far this year, but this is the only book this year or in the last 4 years that I’ve re-read and I did it almost immediately via audiobook with my teenagers, they love it too. I can not recommend this book enough to anyone who will listen. This is the book we all need for 2020 to soothe our wounds.
