I'm probably going to get stoned for saying this, but I need to get it off my chest.
It is so boring, the way Austen tells the story is terrible. There is no suspense in the story, it is predictable (which is not Austen's fault because modern romance stories copied her works.) There are probably only 3 chapters in this book that are remotely interesting. Austen barely describes anything, it gives me the feeling of being excluded. The writing feels very lazy, she doesn't even describe some conversations.
I feel like it is a book that only lives off reputation. Everyone likes it, so you have to like it too.
