Picked it up today with a couple friends just to try it out after getting somewhat sick of paladins. This game follows the Hi-Rez trend of taking a concept (in this case cs:go but more accurately, Valorant) and simply doing everything worse... Granted I already do not enjoy valorant but this game just felt limp, nothing remotely interesting about it. I cant think of a single reason to play this game besides the fact that its free and it has crossplay.

Barely a Gears of War game. Completely removes the soul of what gears 1-3 were and the fun that they had in them. You get your token modern characters, classic girl character with colored hair and beanie and flannel around waist. Attempted witty dialogue that just ends up being absolutely annoying. It feels like a game that decided to succumb to modern games journalism and make a video game that is exactly what games journalists would want. Its completely ridiculous and not at all fun to play. You hate to see a bastion shooter series like GoW become something like this. Should have stopped at gears 3

This show is just like every other abc show. The writing is plain weird. The shots are awkward. The aesthetic is extremely forced, basically shoved down your throat. I like the lead actors but their performances are awkward. It seems that it's because of the bad writing. Pretty terrible experience honestly.
