So I watched this movie lately after all the hype around this movie. For me, this wasn't moving as people claimed it to be (Let me be clear, this is a personal opinion, read further if you are open-minded enough hear other's opinion). POSITIVES: Fahad Fasil was brilliant with his acting, portrayed his male chauvinist role perfectly and his creepy looks will make you cringe(PERFECTION). The cinematography was amazing. Some frames just stay in our eyes forever. NEGATIVES: I did not find any other character interesting or impactful. Soubin Shahir performance as Saji was good but wasn't moving enough for me. I found the pace of the movie slow and the story doesn't seem appealing in some parts. Especially, when Murugan dies for Saji while attempting to save (I couldn't settle with that logically). And not to mention lousy climax. Tried to give a social message which lost its essence with the climax. I would give a 7.5/10.

Every sane human must watch this classic. You'll start with a smile at Forrest's innocence and before you know the next moment tears start welling in your eyes and flow down your cheeks! Tom Hank's acting exalts this movie to a whole new level. Scenes when he asks if his boy is smart, the one with him at the graveyard of jenny - If these don't melt your heart I don't know what will. If you are checking out reviews for watching this movie or not, I say stop reading and watch the damn movie right away!

Left me in tears! No, it isn't an emotional movie but it connects with people, especially the ones who have had a lot of hardships and failures in their lives! Will Smith and his kid have nailed the acting. Their chemistry flourishes along with the plot of the movie. ( "You're a good papa" <3).The dialogues build more strength for the movie! The part where the waterworks came for me is the climax, and his dialogue goes like this, "This part of my life, this little part is called happiness..." When he has finally done it, achieved, that sign of relief when he got the job! Everybody needs to experience that! Period.
