Boring and slow to unfold. The plot never revealed itself. I have no idea how all these other ppl are coming to all these conclusions. I couldn't understand any of the "metaphors". It was bleak, unattractive and all around weird. It made zero sense to me. If one has to work that hard to understand a movie plot, then that's not entertaining.

I enjoyed it's camp fun‼️ It clearly captured everything. It was a dystopian, space thriller zombie 🧟‍♂️ alien 👽 buddy movie. It only dropped the ball when they didn't use the acid to kill the alien zombies 🤦🏽‍♀️ which was found to destroy them. Gotta know when to cut...

Started off hopeful, but it got convoluted in the end and it seemed unresolved. But maybe that's what they wanted, if so, the ending was too hopeless and the characters were left unredeemable

Although Away ticks the box for It's scientific accuracy, it misses the mark in being entertaining. Laboriously slow, Away lingers on many scenes way too long and takes too long to flesh out character back story. Characters who are boring to begin with and almost all of them except Swank are unlikable. The cinematography is dark and I found myself squinting through the whole series. The dialog, is uninteresting with bland and flat tone, is audibly low and never seems to climax. As I squinted through each episode, I kept wondering when will the point of this movie, with all its angst and edgy lead ups reveal itself. It never did.
